Innovation Strategist and Systems Architect

Bernhard Hecker is a Munich-based innovation strategist with over 30 years of experience designing high-impact product systems at the intersection of AI, deep tech, and digital transformation. His work centers on how organizations create, manage, and act on information at scale—especially in complex, regulated, and fast-evolving environments.

Across B2B SaaS, cloud platforms, and knowledge systems, Bernhard has led major transformations in public, PE-, and VC-backed companies throughout Europe. His track record includes scaling platforms at Sympa and Retarus, driving cross-brand integrations, and regulatory innovation at SUSE, where he advanced digital sovereignty and sustainability in software development.

Bernhard’s approach blends strategic foresight with operational clarity. He’s known for turning weak signals into robust, future-ready systems, helping organizations rethink the flow of data, documents, and decision-making.

He has served as Chief Product Officer and interim executive at Pluxee (Sodexo), Virtual Solution, and Cryptowerk, and regularly advises startups through German Accelerator and the Founder Institute. He lectures on strategy, systems, and blockchain at the TUM School of Management.

A frequent writer on AI, sustainability, and product leadership, Bernhard is trusted by founders, boards, and CxOs to lead where others hesitate, especially when information integrity, velocity, and intelligence are on the line.
